New to Ft.Collins..............looking to meet kayakers to..

paddle the Poudre.

I just moved to Ft. Collins from New Mexico, for grad school at CSU. If anyone is headed up to the Poudre for a low water run I would love to check it out.
Are there any park and play spots at low water?

Come on all you FR'ers! She paddles Class IV! Help a sister out! Point her in the direction of that huge awesome Fort/FR paddlin' community.

(G...I may be out her in the sticks with Halliburton and cowboys....but I got your back!)

Yo Gretel,
If you want to meet a strong contingent of the Fort Collins boating community (including the "poudre puffs," read women paddlers of the poudre) you should head up to the Narrows this afternoon for the inaugural Poudre Gnarrows Race. We are meeting at Ted's Place (gas station at the intersection of Hwys 287 and 14) at 5:30. From there we will head up to the Narrows for the race. We are friendly. See you there.
Evan
