New to CO, looking for class II-III multi-day

This is my first river season in CO and I am looking for something mellow to run this weekend with my dog. I know, it is probably the busiest weekend of the year, but it's worth a shot! Preferably something class II-III around 20-50 miles and not too far from Denver Metro.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

gotta check out the poudre. the filterplant run is a great beginner run. i'm runnin it a lot till the water comes down a little (+ i float alone usually). and the poudre isn't nearly as crowded as a lot of other popular stretches. i'd be glad to show ya around up there if you want. i work weekends, but i'm usually off around 4. off thursday and friday tho. lemme know if you wanna come up to foco. -ben

Stone Bridge to Vallie Bridge, through Salida, is a beautiful float with lots of IIs and IIIs. Maybe 25-30 miles total... or you can cut it into smaller chunks as well...
