Roger's park is one of the flattest stretches in the canyon. I looked at it last weekend. It may be class IIish with lots of water. Pretty much just for the fishes.

I have been watching this work over the past couple of weeks. It is flatter in that spot. However, you could start below the bridge up stream at the climbing place (can't remember the name) and go quite a ways before the the creek starts to drop into the narrows, where there is a lot of wood. I look at this stretch everytime I drive down the canyon. I think there may be a couple of downed trees that might need moved. I think it may be more then class II, especially with the new features added? When it runs and is paddlable, it seems to be pretty fast. It might be a creek run for II-III paddlers, we will see. I wish they would drop some of those boulders in the whitewater park. How come my returns don't allow for new paragraphs?
