New kayak sport?

So I'm gonna start the first up-river club. Were gonna have to reclassify all rivers depending on if your going up or down stream.

Noisy though. If they could make things like that (ie: jetskis) quiet and less polluting, that would be great.
Are jetskis on the CO whitewater yet? This was the first year I've seen jetskis on the Main Payette in ID, working all the rapids below GLOYF. Noisy, blue smoke clouds, cutting off kayakers and SUPers at times. Not fun to share the river with a pack of a dozen jetskiers. They look like they were having a blast though. Be prepared to see jetskis on more class III big water soon, unless there is some regulation against them.
Will probably be the water equivalent of 4-wheelers vs non-motorized trails soon. They can probably do class IV or harder.

I heard someone jetskiied all the way up the South fork of the Payette to Little Falls at high water last spring. Thats all of Staircase and Swirly, plus. Evidently there is no regulation against that.

Wasn't there a video of this guy talking about how he was building that boat so he could run Niagra Falls? He was saying having an engine in the boat would give him enough forward momentum to clear the rock pile at the base of the falls. Seems like he's sticking to flatwater slalom now. Good choice.

an the sport continues to evolve...... having just recently gotten the comercals in the GC to use 4 cycles it seems ashamed to have to deal with 2 cycles again.

Perhaps the next step is to blast off 300' + water falles with something like a wing suit and combine a couple of extrem sports huck'n and flying.
