New invention.. underwater breathing without tanks!

Stumbled across this on Slashdot (yes I'm a nerd)...


basically, it sounds like a device that can extract oxygen directly from water. Not sure how big the device might be, or if it might be possible to build into a PFD.. might be something to watch for though.
