Old Bingo used to have a refrigerator sized boulder about 15-20 feet directly behind the hole. This backed it up just enough to keep it retentive. In the spring of 2004, the hole was pretty decent. Three of us were surfing one day while they were doing some work on the condos. They were moving some boulders around like heavy machine operators do ya know. Well I think it was LatenightJoneser, I and some other cat somehow talked this guy into pushing around a few boulders on players left. Well this really brought bingo in. He would move a few around. We would surf and redirect "hole shaping" as necessary. It took about 20 minutes to get it right. Man that hole got better and better as the water came up. I think that spring was a pretty decent year. Pretty unique experience when I look back on it.
Anyhow, I hit hometurf June 11. I'll be around until the 22nd. Can't wait to check er out. Can anyone talk Gary into finding that ole refrigerator rock?

Anyway, we're fortunate to have this and many other new features this season. This will revitalize the downtown Golden area and that park between Ford and Washington. We have a great new take out walking distance to some awesome micro breweries. Stoked!
