The contest ended when the river reached peak flow, however, the USGS decided to recalibrate the gauge a couple days after the end of the contest. I had already called it when the gauge dropped and I went with the 'paper' posted peak, prior to their readjusting of the gauge.
Greg Osgood from Gunnison won the paddle and should have his paddle today via UPS
I'm putting together a complete boating package for a giveaway this fall:
The package will include the following:
A brand spanking new Jackson boat, either a Hero, SuperFun, or AllStar (winner picks)
Werner Player Paddle, either bent shaft or straight shaft (winner chooses type and length)
Lotus PFD (TBD which model)
Now for the details on how you can win...this is where it's gonna get hard on y'all.
Best Paddling Story w/photos
