new boater needs input

I am a 6'0 and 150 pounds male, capricorn (although i dont think that matters much). I am a total rookie lookin for my first boat. I have taken some intro courses in kayaking. Anyone reccommend a good all around beginner boat. i have heard good things about the dagger gt 7.8. any feedback on this boat would be greatly appreciated or reccommendations on other boats as well.

the gt sucks (imho)

what kind of boating do you want to do?
do you want to spend time playing or just running rivers?

there's tons of boats out there, the gt will keep you from learning how to play much (or at all). If I was starting again I'd find a playboat that fits you well (I'm 5'7" 170 so what works for me would not be a great boat for you). I'd go to confluence (or insert preferred kayak shop here) & hop in as many boats as you can & see what fits you & feels good.

ez series, ezg, cross river, there's a stack of great river-running playboats out there that would be great to learn in.
