South canyon to westwater. Pretty much flat with two dam portages. Probably 130 miles. Loma to westwater aka ruby horsethief is 32 miles I think. Nelson Oldham use to train like someone said above start at hanging lake, paddle to bair ranch and back.

maybe the ark below pueblo, may encounter the south platte stink factor though?

The Mississippi river........ Plenty of flats, like, the whole river down to the gulf, just dodge the occasional barge and dam.

Dont swim either, water is really nasty.
And to think I used to fish in that...ugh
