The form says it costs $5/person/day which comes to $20/day for each family. What other hiking is on the South side aside from Chinle? And what camping, since they say to list the name of your camping site on the permit application is is so darn nice. I don't want to spend an extra $120 for 6 days camping and another $120 for 6 days of hiking. We have a bunch of kids, down to 7 years old. Can they even do the hikes?

Thanks for all you awesome suggestions, except for the 2 lousy ones.

May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
