N. Fork Gunny?

Came up another 600cfs today for a total of ~2400. Seems prime.

But I notice there's a distinct lack of chatter about it here--wondering why that is? Industrial setting? Featureless run? Blast rock/roadside? Distance from paddling communities?

I've driven by it countless times and it doesn't look super awesome. The beta in the New Testament makes it sound worth doing, but maybe only once.

What say ye? If I've got a day to spend (this Thurs) would it be better spent in Bogan Canyon? Or somewhere else within ~2.5 hours of GJ?

Any help appreciated.

There is mildly interesting water behind the town, and upstream a pretty good rapid just above the spillway of paonia res. Behind some camp. The best run on that river is hiking your boat up into dark canyon to the confluence and screaming down. All class four or less, but plenty of wood on anthrocite.
