My First Surfing Trip!

Things have been a bit hectic the last month. Sorry haven't posted for a while.
Here is a link to my surfing experience down in Mexico.
My First Surfing Trip Link, Click It.

Right now I am in Colorado and getting ready to paddle every day until I can't move my arms anymore. Hoping to run a bunch of different stuff and paddle with a bunch of folks out here.

My plan is for the next few weeks to post a story everyday from the rivers that I run. Hoping to make up for some lost days. Starting tomorrow with a couple rivers.
Check back at Shaneslogic

Shane, were you there last week? I was in Sayulita from Wednesday through this past Sunday, so I might have been sitting in the lineup with you.

Would love to boat with you while you're out here- I first learned to kayak from you waaayyy back at The Mountain outside of Highlands NC. I think I owe you a beer or three.

The Mountain!!! Who are you El Falco? I worked there longer than that douce bag brother of mine. It would be great to talk to you. I heard they do not even paddle there anymore.

El Flaco is Josh Parker- You guys were a year or three older that me back in the mid-eighties and counselors, and I was in Shane's cabin one year. I think you guys knew my sister Karen a little better; she's about Peter's age.

Anyway- Shane, you taught me to roll and led a trip down the Nanty when I was about 14....and I've been boating ever since.

Looks like we're hitting the Source tonight, so if you're on the Front Range you're welcome to collect on my debt tonight...

Nice Josh
I remember you and your sister.
Unfortunately I am not on the front range right now. I am in Durango. Hopefully going to go check out a little Lime Creek today.
But Front Range may be in my future.

It was great everyday. Wake up go do a couple hour surf first thing. Go get a cup of coffee. Hang out at the house. Eat some lunch. Take a nap. Go surf again until you couldn't move your arms and then go drink margaritas and each fish tacos. Then repeat. I think we are going to do this every year.
Very cool. Thanks for posting.

One word: Sayulita Fish Tacos, right on the main plaza in town. They're the best goddam fish tacos I've ever had.
