My brother wants to learn to kayak in 6 days!

Sooo... my brother is coming for a visit from Hawaii for 6 days to Boulder, Co. He already kite-surfs, windsurfs, ocean kayaks, etc. so I think he will pick this sport up pretty quick after he gets his roll in the reservoir. But I haven't paddled class II or III in years and I don't know what is good or even running right now in Colorado. I would like to stay within 4-5 hours from Boulder and some car camping is fine. Any recommendations for beginner runs that are still flowing right now?
Also, I might need to rent or borrow a kayak for him since he is bigger than me and might sink my boats. Any recommendations for a beginner boat for 6'1", 210-220 lbs?
Thanks, Kelly Jensen

Deckers on the south fork of south platte (camping can be sparse)

Sections of Colorado up by State Bridge

Poudre would be great too if the water holds.

Depending on when he comes and the water levels bet a bunch of the Ark would work too like Milk Run/Stone bridge to Salida or any of the other calss three sections if he is catching on.
