Never thought I would say this but motors are highly recommended we averaged less then 2 mph
Ditto. Ran it two weeks ago. Made it to Slab Camp (which was only good for about 2 ppl) the evening of the rapids. We had no motor. Then, rowed the following day from 9 am to 2:30am to the take out. NO current. Horrendous headwinds are likely. Had to row into the night when the W decreases. None of the companies are picking up anyone either since most are on a time schedule.
Buddy of mine guiding a baby-J is having to use both his main motor and his back up motor simultaneously to move the boat downstream multiple times a week.
