Most over-da-top river trip ever?

Does anyone have any stories or descriptions of the craziest stuff that has ever happened on a multiday river trip? What is the largest one you have been on (people and days). What is the funkiest stuff you have ever seen or taken on the river? Most beer and liquor at a put-in? Just trying to get some ideas.

Too much?

Didn't think it was possible, but I ordered too much beer. For comparison same launch date, same amount of people: their beer pile.

And our beer pile.

Better than running out.

Yikes.

joggy j put together a middle fork trip a couple years ago. he had to hire a plane to fly more beer in for resupply. we only had four rafts so we couldn't carry enough. almost disturbing in retrospect.

MOSTLY a river trip.

59 days, 1500 miles, 1 state and 2 provinces. From the worlds largest lake to the arctic ocean. The Winnipeg River ran ~20,000 cfs. The Echimamish ~100 cfs. But god I wish I could have had that beer pile...

I'd have to say 5 days on Cataract Canyon at high water. 40 people with 110 cases of beer, 20 cases of booze, 3 guitars, a fiddle, and more illegal fun than you can shake a stick at. Pulling into the new Hite at midnight, absolutely out of our minds on various fungi, in the middle of a raging storm replete with sand stakes pulling and getting flushed into the lake. Not exactly the most intimate trip, but what a rager! Also not the best way to introduce a newbie shy girlfriend to the river scene. That pretty much defines the Cockroaches.

SKM - How many days / how many people was that trip? It could be a lot of beer or not much at all...

You got any photos?

Western Slope WaterMan,

Do you have photos of that trip. I would like to check that action out. You can edit them as needed.
