Yesterday we planned to do Barrel Springs down thru Shoshone. As we walked by Upper Death it seemed strangley runnable (4,500cfs? according to the graphs) I hopped in my 6.3 Crazy 88 and gave er' a go! Don't really know why as it has scared the crap out of me for years. Ran down the tounge got swallowed up and popped up at the bottom somehow. Not a very pretty run but... it was so fun. Just thought I would share. If you like to scare yourself then jump in. I don't think I have ever seen it with this much water in it.

Hobie... I agree, it looked fairly... decent when matt and i looked the other day.... thinking bout it for a while... now might be better then ever eh?
