More Lower Blue
Looks like inflows to the Green Mountain Reservoir are dropping pretty fast. As a result, later this evening we'll drop our releases from Green Mountain to the Lower Blue to 450 cfs.
By Saturday morning, we'll only have 450 cfs in the Lower Blue.
We are projecting that inflows to the reservoir will continue to drop. With the 102 degree day tomorrow, 100 predicted on Sunday, I think it is safe to assume Denver Water will keep running water from Dillon east through Roberts Tunnel at about 550 cfs. And run off is done, so our inflows will keep going down.
They are dropping off steadily enough, our water team thinks there will be another adjustment or two over the weekend, putting our releases below 450 cfs Saturday night or Sunday.
Monday, I'll update you all again.
That's the scoop for now. I'm planning on being out in the water myself with all this heat! Stay cool and have a good weekend!
