Missoula Update

Finally here in Missoula. Water is warm, like bathwater and it doesnt get dark until 10, so you can have dinner, then surf brennans wave for desert.

Great town, Edge of the World is a great shop, good people, demo boats, whatever you need. Check 'em out if you're in town.

Ran down the alberton gorge yesterday..still highish water 10k, a flush. Fun play, warm water and weird swirly double boiling eddylines that shoot mini-whirlpools at you: Insta-Squirt

Great tight boater community here. The friendliest eddy-queues I've ever seen. "After you, no I insist, after you"

Brennan's wave is great, reminds me of the lower wave/hole at Salida, but faster and bouncier. They could use a more agressive balls-out feature here, but it's a great start. I get the feeling that there's not too much gradient to work with in town.

Dan make sure you bring a patch kit for that thing. You never know when she'll blow her top.

I love to dance, but who needs the music- It throws me off.

I'm a local here in Missoula, although, only a six month local. If you need someone for a shuttle or something, like the blackfoot, let me know,

Thanks for the offer. Unfortunately, I fly back to Colorado today. I've had a great time in Missoula, nice boater community out here. You're ladies are damn fine too...I'll ship the doll out to Eastern Montana, where I understand the goats are getting pretty nervous.

Luckily you are flying, 'cause if you had to travel through the Bozeman to Billings stretch there is a good chance some good ole boy would make you squeal like a sheep either coming or going.

Come back again to the kayaking place where the only people who cut in line are on surfboards. Pretty sure they aren't locals....
