Been wanting to go to the Yaak all year, no crew though. Going to bust up there Friday night hit the Rest stop and gorge on my way out, if I have time, run the yaak Saturday morning, swan that night, then head home. I did the north fork Sunday from the wilderness down, it was a blast but pretty low, clear of all wood and most of the boulders midstream were exposed about a foot or two making some fun little pour overs, but it was still great having a private little river. I bet the yaak would be a kick right now. I did it last summer and it was two feet lower, did the falls when it was real low.
I've been frothing at the mouth to hit it at a higher level. (not the falls, but the rest of the river) Hit me up if you want to try and plan something.
By the way I row a 13 ft. or 18 ft. cat, have a extended cab tundra, trailer, and a scooter if we wanted to bring it for a shuttle.
