This past week has been the worst week in the history of our beloved sport. A friend of us all, Milo Wynne, is done with kayaking. A pyrahna S6 and an AT2 which have both seen their share of hair are now up for sell.
Last week Milo and a buddy from Montana put on the Black Canyon hoping for a 1 day adventure. It ended up taking them 4 days and all of their will powere to survive. Milo, who has paddled the Black close to 30 times and soloed it 10, nearly drowned several times. His buddy came within inches of drowning mor than 5 times. When i talked to Milo he was noticably not the Chachii we all knew and loved him to be a week prior. Hopefully the Captain will eventually be the same, but for the time being it seems that he is off the maps.
Now ladies, i need your help. If you truly care for our dear friend and in the long run our sport, then you will find it in you to offer your services to Milo. Call him at 970 275 1890 and let him know that your there for him and that he's still one sick mother fucker in your mind.

when i talked to him last night he was still in shock and didnt want to tell the full story... he hadnt slept for nearly 3 days and is having trouble eating. All i know right now is that he was inches away from being sucked into a sive when the black was running at 1400, along with watching his freind nearly drown 5 times. Milo watched the guy miss his boof off the 18 footer and just get throttled by the hole. I quote,"I was steimtrodding from that point on".

I'd like to take a second and clear up some bullshit. In light of all the tragedy going on and what may come, the MONKEYS have been busted! They are young rookies that don't understand how inconsiderate the last posts were. Our run was interesting, extended and spicy. Mr. Montana stomped and also battled his way through some "hot moments". He is a tough MF'er! I was able to be where I needed to be except in one drop. I was forced to CHARGE over a semi-buried-messpot. After the PORTAGE, things got "ugly" in a hurry. The Gunnsion River decided to eat some gear, leaving us no option but to hike out for more. We hiked out the SOB. The Rangers on the N. Rim assisted us in more ways than can be addressed. By noon-30 the next day we were "going back in" to finish the run and by 8:30pm we'd hiked Chukar and run shuttle for some nice folks(SNW and his croanies) that were running the Gunnison Gorge. I would like to say that the wild flowers were going off in the canyon and the Ivy wasn't dripping "gu" yet!
The MONKEYS have been caged and put on rations of green bananas.
Feel free to slaughter them post-wise. I hope everybody has a fun and safe season.
PS...will trade H3, AT, s6, camstraps, nalgenes, duct tape, sponge, CRC2 and skirts for mtn. bike and or tennis raquets. Would consider trading for "his and hers" roller blading set-up

But Milo, somebody's gotta show up at gore in an orange around the neck life vest and a striped cotton shirt. Or, even dressed as a police officer to freak people out and hand out tickets... Maybe you should paddle gore this year using just your new tennis rackets...
