middle fork outlook

Heard the snowpack is less than great. just kickin out the permits and wondering if it would be running in late June? Access?

I don't know anything about this years pack, but the road usually opens by late may or early June. I think it is pretty much gualranteed to be open by late June and water should last into july no matter what.

Salmon basin is at 85% of average. Below average, but still decent. June should be good no matter what. For each % point below average, bring an extra case of beer and you will be golden!

by the end of june the road will always be open. Last year the snow was huge, and we launched may 28th. The road had been plowed due to an accident, but there is a lot of money riding of those early launch dates for the commercial guys.
