MF Salmon in one day

As the snowpack is still looking pretty good (although I'm still hoping for a few more storms...), the thought of running the MF in a day is looking more and more promising. I've talked to a few people who've done it, but I'd like to get as much info as possible. Anyone on here done it? If so, some questions:

Did you run Marsh the day before?
Is Ski Jump at super high water really as terrifying as people make it out to be?
Any other surprises?
What did you carry in your boat in case you didn't make it?

Any and all beta is appreciated!

A couple of years ago there was a trip of 2 guys in kayaks running it in a day at 5.5'. We logged our river time with GPS and it took us only 16 total hours on cats, not pushing at all. From Boundary.

They were lucky, after their run they were heading back up to Boundary for a week long trip.
