Sharkness makes an excellent point. Flows can start to get low by mid July in a normal precip year and this is definitely not a normal precip year. Last I looked snowpack was around 70% of ave for the flathead. Never know what kind of fire season we'll have till its over but the way things are going this year could be bad for forest fires (unless you work as a firefighter). In a bad fire season you should expect anything from campfire restrictions to an all out closure of public use on National forests. I imagine heavy smoke could hamper flights too if getting dropped at Schaffer. Probably safer to plan to float it in June.
