I paddled the San Juan below Pagosa yesterday and the numerous horseshoe drops have me curious. Are they for fish habitat? Who paid to have them put in?
Also what are the development plans of the landowner? They have three new looking bridges and several places where heavy machinery has been fording the river. The big gazebo seems really out of place, too.
