Lyons Outdoor Games

I just finished speaking with the the water resources department for Lyons. The flows for Friday Saturday and Sunday will be:
SSV approx 175 cfs....which is perfect (not too high and not too low ) NSV will be 250 to 300...which makes the proving Grounds PERFECT and the above Buttonrock NSV flow should stay around 280 (perfect for the Big Boys wanting to have a day in the remote V+ paradise)
That will make the Black Bear, A-Hole and O-hole sitting right around 425- 450 cfs.........Couldn't be better.
The narrows race will start just upstream of the Narrows proper and will take approximately 3 minutes to run. (first pull out on left after Narrows will approximate the starting line)
The online registration has been extended until tomorrow......get your discount while you still can.....see you this weekend
We have 6 spots left for the Fri instructional with the Jacksons...........3 in advanced and 3 in beginnner.
email me directly to get these spots (no PMs please)

sustained flows?

Hey Matt,
How long will the flows last on the MNSV? I hope to hit it on Monday evening.

With this cold weather last night and tonight, what does this mean for SSV and lower NSV for this weekend festivities?

Also, not knowing the plumbing, does lower NSV usually have the same flows as middle NSV? I see the flows are dropping and trending down into Button Rock res with this cold weather.

erdvm1 or Lyon's Paddlers in the know,

It looks like the water is starting to go up on lower NSV. I assume this is dam release? Do we know how long they plan to leave the water on? Will it be going on for Sunday or our they shutting it off? Are we still looking at 300cfs or so?

Thanks for your input
