Lyons-A-Hole fixed, New drop coming

I noticed there has not been to much to talk about lately. So here is some news. We just fixed the A-Hole below the Black Bear Hole this week. We had a major failure that showed up later in the year. All looks good and hopefully we did not change the performance too much. Check it out if you drive by. Hopefully both the Black Bear and A-hole's performance will be better than last year.

We are also working on a new drop, which is located about 1/4 mile downstream of the Black Bear Hole. It is after a canal feeds INTO the river from Carter Lake. What is truly awesome about this is that the canal flows at 200-350 cfs until November 1. This means we would have a decent play hole from Mid April to October 31. We only have one spot to put a drop and we have been working at it for a few months now. We have our permitting underway and have approval from the city. Our only road block now is raise about $15K more. We a re planning on a fundraiser in March and certainly could use all the help and donations we can get. Stay tuned one of us will post in the next month with an update.

Hey Arn I'll donate a few clinics for the fundraiser in March. (auction) I'll also donate my labor/tractor driving skills!!! Maybe we can get some product like last fundraiser and silent auction it off.?

Sorry I missed the grout session on BB, how did it turn out?

The fix on the A-hole turned out alright. Grouting was a bitch since we had cold weather and we could not get the water shutoff feeding into the pit. All in all we had two hours to set all the rocks on the river right wing, but we got er' done. BTW, we got all the boulders we need for the next drop!

Cayo, we will post here soon a way you can help. We got a great drop coming up we want to build and we are thinking of a party/fundrasier in Lyons in early spring. Thanks for the offer.
