In my opinion, it boats easier than it looks. It is definition pool drop. If you don't know it, scout the horizon lines and you should be okay. As far as difficulty, not much harder than Brown's Canyon or Mishawaka on the Poudre. I think it seems harder first time down, then once you know it, it isn't very difficult.
