lower poudre canyon fire damage

Would be helpful to get some 1st hand reports of condition of poudre along filter plant run-north side following early run of picnic rock fire. Couldn't have coincided any better with filter plant run. I've heard that fire came down all the way to stream in most places; debris and rock slides from exploding rocks and of course all the rest.

So if there are some good eyes to report the aftermath and effects on visual, physical, etc. thanks in advance.

sad for such a sweet and well-loved place.

just got back from takin a look at it, it doesn't look too bad. It pretty much starts at the filter plant take out and ends up by the put in at Gateway park...it doesn't end there but the main burn area is all north of the highway and the river between those points. The whole mountainside is pretty much torched on the North side of the highway. Not so sure bout the N. Fork though, it might be pretty bad.
