Would like to run the Lower Eagle in a 15 foot raft. Does this description from Eddy Flower sound accurate?
(The Lower Eagle section begins at the Edwards water treatment plant and "ends" at the Town of Eagle, though the river can actually be run all the way to the confluence with the Colorado River near Dotsero. This run is great for beginners consisting of mostly class II with a few class III’s. The scenery is gorgeous with some pool drop sections that offers excitement without extreme risk). Not worried about the whitewater just like to know what the section is like... fun, crowded? Not sure where the put in is.
Any BETA on this section would be appreciated, are there any low head dams or other hazards to be aware of?
