Lower CC current flow?

What is lower clear creek like right now 350-400 cfs range? Is it boney? Still fun and padded?

350 is OK. A bit of rock dodging, but not too bad. Still reasonable action and fun.

Bony in between the rapids but fun. The put-in rapid, Screaming Quarter Mile, and Elbow Falls all have plenty of water in them. Those rapids are easy IV at this level.

If class IV is kind of easy for you then Black Rock is what you want to be on right now. It is at good levels for first-timers or for people who are nervous in IV+/V-. It is relatively forgiving and the lines are not hard to make.

I run lower down to about 200. 350 is a great first time down level. The "hard" stuff has plenty of water, but nothing is too pushy. Go for it, have fun, and give me a call if you go today (Saturday). 720-898-5704 ~Aaron
