No arguement that boulder creek is a fun run and that with water its a classic front range after work run.
I too enjoy a nice round of low water rock n' boat. If you are passing through, its definitely a good time, and worth checking out.
I guess my comment was really that boulder creek at low 200's vs. clear creek in the 800's is a dissappointment. I had the same arguement with my crew after they drug me out to boulder creek when clear creek was running high this weekend. 3ft wave trains vs small splashy waves. 3-5 foot rock boofs vs. rock banging. Of course I was vetoed on clear creek so it appears I am in the minority in my crew and on the buzz.
I'd also say that at relative levels a medium boulder creek run is more fun that a lower clear creek run, so I agree with the boot. A high medium lower clear creek beats out a low water boulder creek in my book though.
As soon as boulder creek has some kicking flows I'll be back!
