Guys--some more news for the Lower Blue. I'm not sure how long these releases will be up like this--as long as runoff lasts (and it's really cranking now) and then we will steadily reduce the release from the dam. So, for those of you wondering about this coming weekend, you should be good to go on the Lower Blue. Here's what I just sent out a few minutes ago (Tuesday June 23):
This evening, we will bump up releases from Green Mountain Dam to the Lower Blue by another 200 cfs. Snowmelt run off continues to come down from the mountains, increasing inflow to Green Mountain Reservoir. We are nearing full at the reservoir and passing the inflow on downstream.
That means, later this evening, the Lower Blue River will be flowing at about 2600 cfs.
