Lower Blue goes UP again
Yesterday afternoon (September 5), we bumped up releases from Green Mountain Reservoir to the Lower Blue. That means, today, the Lower Blue is running close to 880 cfs.
We are releasing water for hydropower generation and to help meet the flow targets in the 15-Mile Reach of the Colorado River upstream of Grand Junction. The 15 Mile Reach benefits the endangered fish of the Upper Colorado River.
As always, please give me a call or send an e-mail if you have questions.
