All,
Over the last few days, we've reduced our releases quite a bit out of Green Mountain Reservoir to the Lower Blue.
By noon today, the Lower Blue was running around 100 cfs.
Over the weekend, we reduced releases by 50 cfs. Yesterday, we dropped another 50. Today, we dropped releases 150 cfs.
So, that's at least 250 cfs LESS through Lower Blue, into the Colorado, and through Gore.
Shoshone Power Plant went down for maintenance over the weekend. Only a few Grand Junction irrigators still have a call on the river. And, it's been raining on the west slope, and in particular, Grand Junction. Snow (in the lower elevations) would be nicer!
Give me a holler if you have questions, concerns, etc.!
Best,
Kara
