Lost raft paddles on Clear Creek

Well, in the spirit of adventure... uh,yeah... we attempted to send a raft down Black Rock earlier today, with little success. So we would now be looking for a grand total of 6 red raft paddles somewhere below Black Rock Rapid. The paddles belong to BOC and are labelled accordingly. If anyone happens to pick any of these up they may be returned either to them or myself. OR, if any kayakers see the paddles, perhaps you might toss them up on shore and post the general location here.

Also, if anyone is paddling Black Rock and/or lower in the morning, I'd like to get in my kayak and run down and look. I'm a little more solid in the plastic boat.

I did see one from downstream tonight- I was already past it and I initially thought it was a broken kayak blade, so we didn't walk upstream to get it.

At the first tunnel below Black Rock (as the river leads away from the road), it's about 50-70 yards downstream, 3 feet from river left shore at a small river-wide drop. I pointed it out to my buddies, but they weren't sure it was a paddle blade and we were across the river in an eddy. Makes sense that it was a raft paddle now.

If I go up there tomorrow, I'll try to find it again. CW might be able to pinpoint the exact location better. Sorry I didn't grab it.

I saw one of them tonight just a short way down from the narrows on the river right bank. Close to the bend in the road with mile marker 166.
