Looking to run the Arkansas

Hello, I am looking to hook up with someone to run the Arkansas. I am alone in town for a few days. Solid class III paddler with some fours under my hull. looking for something below the numbers to start. please call cell 603 498 0986..or i will check back here in the early am. Or can someone tell where I might be able to hook up with some paddlers, which take outs or put ins are good...thanks

If you're going to be in the Buena Vista area, there will be plenty of people to hook up with at various put-in's. Below numbers is Fractions/Frog rock, Bueny town run, and Browns. All III. If you venture further down the river from Salida, you'll have Pinnacle to Parkdale and the Royal Gorge (with maybe one IV-, Sunshine, a little technical at this level). I'd suggest Fisherman's bridge a little south of Buena Vista if you don't get anyone confirmed to meet with you. There will be plenty of boaters putting in to run Browns. You can always stop in to CKS on Main Street in Bueny for some more beta. Have fun.....

Taking a group down parkdale on sunday. You are welcome to join but might be a little boring for you. Browns is up a notch in difficulty and is prettier if you can avoid the raft crowd.
