Looking for PERU beta

If you haven't heard yet, we (theRangeLife) won the IR vacation to Hell. Todd Gillman is representing at OR right now, and about all I know is that we are headed to Peru. He isn't even sure what river yet, except that October is the timeframe, so we are in a bit of a mad dash to learn everything we can about boating in Peru.

Any Help?? Contacts? thanks.

Shane

Get ready for some multiday action. October is the best month, when the rivers are the lowest. Here is a list of the fist ones to hit, this list will take about 6 weeks.
1 Abysmo Section of the Apurmremac
2 cotawassi
4 Colca
3Urabamba
4 Pocaratomba
5 Mirane
Damon is off the radar right now.. Contact Pierro in Cusco info@terraexplorer.com. Pierro , his two other borthers and Juanito are some of the best boaters anywhere.
Have Fun

just a real quick update on this .. our mission is to complete the last unrun canyon in the amazon basin. its called the rio huallaga in peru. it has a long history of exploration, but in '99, the last party to attempt whatever part of it we're doing turned around 20-30 miles in & climbed 3,000 meters out thru the jungle. neat.

we won't have time to joyride & explore peru much as we are expected to get this thing done .. or discover that it can't be done .. one or the other.

damon def. came to mind immediately, so we'd love to pick his brain if he's available. we'll def. utilize any other resources you's guys offer up! this is fixin' to get interesting.

exhausted .. bed time.

I don’t know if you “Silver Backs” can handle something of that magnitude with Alzheimer’s settling in and your bones becoming weak, among other things.

I must say I’m really worried so I wonted to offer my services once again as the Young Buck probe. Knowing that this is a sensitive matter with you two, feel free to call and we can work out a deal.

You will enjoy Peru. There are lots of rivers and an excellent compilation of data has been put together by Kurt Casey of Pittsburg at:
