looking for new boating buddies

I'm a long time boater whose boating buddies have all either grown up, moved away, had kids or hung it up! I'm looking for some new friends with a high safety consciousness to paddle class III-IV runs around the state this season. Mostly old-school attitude... I love to run rivers, surf waves, play some medium sized holes, and just enjoy the 'dance' of moving in and out of eddies down a beautiful river!. Lots of flexibility in times - I actually prefer weekday paddling to avoid crowds and scenes.

John we sound compatible. guess this is why my wife dosen't like me in chat rooms. . any way i would like to set up a consistent week day paddle that i could plan the rest of the week around. Steve
