Okay, so this weekend I went to GoWithTheFlow in Roswell, GA, where they had LL XP9 on display. I sat in it, and it's quite large - too large in fact. I had to really strain to get my knees to fit into the leg braces, so it's just not the right size for me.
I imagine the Dagger Katana 9.7 will be the same way.
They also had a touring kayak (Wilderness brand - don't remember the model) that had the same exact cockpit size as the Pyranha Fusion Small. I sat in it, and fit like a glove. Obviously it's not the same boat, but what I did learn is that the small fusion will at least be the right fit.
Now I have to determine what package I want - C4S or River Touring. Austin Kayak has a KILLER deal right now on the River Touring:
Pyranha Fusion River Tour S Whitewater Kayak Package - austinkayak.com - Product Details
I wish this package was for the C4S but sadly it's not. Still, if I were to buy all those things separately, it would be an additional $300 for everything.
So my question for all you Pyranha owners is this: Is the C4S worth this additional cost? From what I have read, the answer is yes due to seat comfort, the included thigh brace and the bulkhead, but I would like to here from some you on this forum.
