LOG Lyons Outdoor Games UPDATE WOW!!

The latest news:
EJ, Emily and Dane will be giving freestyle instruction on Friday evening. This will require preregistration so keep checking our website.

http://www.lyons-colorado.com/whitewater/index.htm

Space will be limited. Each of the Jacksons will be in one of our three sweet holes (black bear, A-hole and October hole) Dane will be instructing Beginning Freestyle, Emily intermediate and EJ Advanced.
Also the Jacksons are sponsoring a Cadet series Freestyle competition on Saturday. This event will be limited to participants 14 and under. The top two finishers will receive Jackson Paddles and will have a chance to win a BRAND NEW JACKSON kayak. All competitors will win prizes.

There is much more exciting news on the way from Dagger and Keen!!
We're going to have a preregistration available soon and will also be offering riverside camping ALL weekend (perfect for walking home after the rager at Oskar Blues).
WHOOP WHOOP!!

Great stuff Matt. This will be the event of the summer. I can't wait to see the big boys and girls through it down right here on the Front Range.

Thanks a ton for all your hard work and let me know how I can help with the volunteer aspect.

How old is Dane now? 12 years old?

Man, a kid who can't even drive will be giving me lessons.

Don't get me wrong - Dane is bad-ass, and FREE lessons don't suck, but. . . sheesh! That's one to drive home the fact that I need to step it up this year.

Pappa...thank you for the offer. You know we'll need it.
PB...what up Dawg......? Just to clarify. There will be a charge for the instruction. It will be a small fee compared to the what you'll get. And just so everyone knows the proceeds will be split between the Katie Hilleke fund and to the Town of Lyons in order to help grow the event. Basically $$$ well spent.
I'm with ya......Dane is amazing. The whole family is amazing. I have been trying to post a picture of SSV that I took 2 days ago so everyone can see the warm up for the race. Having technical difficulties. If someone (PB) can teach me how to reduce file size in iphoto then post it please let me know.......
