Log in Bailey

Everyone who paddles bailey needs to be aware that there is a new very dangerous river wide log. At 240cfs we all managed to get over it, but there are a lot of branches sticking up from it. Without a doubt the log could kill someone who didn't make it over. None of the boaters in our party managed to catch an eddy above it, but I'm sure they are there if you are more heads up. The log is below Supermax and trashcan, but above Deer Creek. It is around the blind corner immediately below the dangerous log jam that is snuck on the left. Be super heads up and boat safe

Good info. We need to look out for each other on this great run.

Now that the water has dropped, anyone up for working to get those logs out? It looks like the logs are in the middle of the run. It's hard to hike in there. But, we may as well do it sooner than later.

I'm up for a good hike and some lumber-jackin'....

Haven't had the opportunity to run Bailey yet and it's a must do for me next season. I'd love to see a little bit of the run (albeit low) and help remove some hazards.

Even if the road is closed, can't we take mountain bikes?

If it runs again I've got a folding saw that will get at least some of the branches off. Big log removal would be better done by bike w/ bigger saws, perhaps of the mechanized variety

Still looking to get some november boating in
call if it runs
