And the rumors are true. There is a toilet at the ghetto. Amazing, our tax dollars supporting recreational use. However the new ramp at fish creek is too skinny for cats. Duh.

I am a river, babe - I've got plenty of time, I don't know where I'm going, I'm just following the lines..... - "We are water" by Shaye

What were they thinking with that ramp, with as many cats that are on that river?

The new ramp at split creek is great except for the cockeyed handrail at the bottom that makes getting a big boat through almost impossible.

A friend and I took our normal run over to wg in the morn, only to have friends come and meet us a little later and say hey looky there at that nice new bathroom

Is the new toilet at the Ghetto actually unlocked now?

Handrail at Split? I missed it when I pulled my kayak out on the rocks above the bridge. Did they at least widen the ramp? With a 16' raft before we had to walk on the rocks on either side.

The bathroom at the ghetto was unlocked two weekends ago when I was there, what an upgrade!

Ya they did a great job on the ramp itself it is beautiful and wide, the bottom section comes off at an angle with a handrail situated in such a way that it is a pain in the ass to finagle a larger boat through.

Glad they put all the investment into the area though, just engineered by a non-boater behind a desk somewhere.
