Cleaned some wood

A friend and I got some wood out of Left Hand yesterday evening. I think we got pretty much most of the major wood except for a full size tree river wide before the bridge. I think (and don't just take my word for it though) you can go under if you duck real low................. I would look at it before you go though.

We didn't run it though. Was on the low side but I guess it was runnable.

Ran Left Hand today and obviously she is full of wood! Level was low but I have been in there lower. It was at the min. mark on the gauge @ the take out(still fun). Two tree's down to be aware of, The first one you can easily float under and the other is questionable. The bad one is 1/2 way down the run and you can see it from the road. We marked a small eddy 50 yards up stream on river left w/ beer can and a green piece of plastic hanging from a small bush. Make sure you catch this eddy as it is pretty much boggie water with no eddy,s up to the tree. Crux section had some wood also, but ran pretty well. Just wanted to give a heads up! Let me know if your headed up and I will try and meet you. Jason

Removed strainer today!

I removed the strainer from L.H. today. So no more portage.
Level came up with the rain but was back to the low mark at 4pm.

Ran it again tonight 2 inches below the low mark and it sucked. Great to be on the water but I wont do it below the low mark again. We could see a moma black bear and her cubs up on the hill at the take out, pretty cool.
I'll post if it comes back up. Jason

Im always up for a L.H. run but I took a look today and it was 3 inches below min. so we either need it to really warm up or some solid rain like last Thursday night.
