Learning how to R2

So I am interested in learning how to R2 for day trips and low water runs, and possibly some overnighters and was looking for some info on how to get started. I'm coming from a pretty "traditional" background of rowing with maybe one passenger, but most of the time solo. I'd like to learn about R2'ing b/c it looks so fun and would let me get on the water without bringing a frame, etc. Can you do overnighters, and how do you pack for these? I just need basics, like sitting positioning, packing, etc., etc. Is there somewhere where I can learn the absolute basics and then sort of build up from there? Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance

first things first.

Get in your boat with someone or somones you trust on a class II. Take paddles in hand and shove off. Yell, scream and have fun. All forward seems to work well for me. Lean to call commands. Repeat as often as possible, while stepping up difficulty. Take 2 extra paddles as spares. It's really hard to control the boat when everyone looses their paddle and you only have 1 spare.

As far a rigging for an overnight in a paddle raft. Use d rings, lace in or floor holes and thwarts to strap to. Ski race net is nice to cover everything up. Look into a single bay frame for full size cooler. Get creative.

Somebody blasted me in a previous post as not being able to teach paddle rafting on a forum. Probably true. The learning curve is not to steep. Get out their and try it out and refine skills as you go.
