What time of year is your trip, "best" will likely vary based on the season. Bass and Granite Park where the most pleasant stays for us in the winter. Great hikes and lots of sun potential.
Summertime, I will be looking for camps with shade.
Deer Creek is spectacular, but the lower stretch is now closed to access.
South Canyon is amazing in the upper gorge. Nankoweap has the classic camp and ruin, plus plenty of off-route explorations.
New books are published every year that include the camps to hike from to access anything from ruins to technical slot canyons. Might want to purchase one or two of them and bring them along. Could be helpful as you have to be flexible with camps, both from competition and I found the trip takes on a life of its own no matter how well you plan specifics.
