I like the new feature of latest pic. That line looks like the gnar. Is he in a C-1 boat?

If you are talking about the Clark's Fork Leap of Faith pic... the boat is a Wave Sport Y outfitted standard K1. Now that I look more closely at the picture he does look a C1er... but he isn't.

The line we took on this drop was as follows:

- run the big part of the drop, which is about a 20 footer, (shown in the picture) with a left boat angle
- land in a swirly pool
- cut hard left
- run IV+ / V- run out along the left wall

The fun fact about this drop is you can't scout it... thus the name.

You can view more pictures of this drop on www.merelyafleshwound.net

- go to paddling
- select Clark's Fork
- on page 4 of 5... pics 27, 29, and 30 are from the top of the drop
- pic 28 is what is directly above the drop (we ported that)
- pic 31 and 32 are from the bottom of the drop

Cant see that river left move in these pictures. Looks like a major sieve in these pictures. What are you doing in 29,30? Swimming up to have a look at the drop?

Yeah... we put a guy on a line so he could swim out to insure there was no wood or new rocks.

There is nowhere to take pictures of the run out for this drop... it does look sievy but it is good to go.
