kudos to wavesport and mountain miser

Thanks to David Goodman at the Miser and Eliot Doyle with Wavesport for great customer service.

I had an Ace 5.1 that cracked around the screws that hold the cockpit in place. I noticed the boat was leaking for several months but could not find the leak because the cracks were very small. I finally found the cracks and asked for a new boat when my boat was 15 months old. They came through and replaced the Ace with a new Big EZ. It does not get any better than that....

When it comes to customer service and knowledgeable staff, David and his crew are 2nd to none.

How long did it take to get you new boat?

I had the exact same thing happen to my brand new (two month old) super ez. I am still waiting for the new one,and going through a tube of silicone a week to seal the crack.

How long did it take to get a new boat?

It took about 4 weeks to get approval for a new boat. Then a couple more to get the replacement that I wanted.

I sent email to Eliot at Wavesport. Eliot asked me to have the dealer, Mountain Miser, take pictures of the cracks in the boat and send them to WS. After WS got the pictures, Eliot asked for the serial number located under the front grab loop so they could complete the paper work for the new boat.

They did not have the color or model that I wanted in stock so I waited a couple more weeks for them to make the boat and ship it to me.

I was persistent. I worked with David at the Miser to make sure we got good pictures and I followed up by sending several emails to Eliot at Wavesport and copied David at the Miser on each email. My recommendation would be to stay on top of the issue by making sure the Dealer is doing exactly what WS needs to get you another boat.

Good Luck
