Some of those littler kids--guessing 3 or 4 year-olds--in the Remix 47 look like an 8 or 10 year old trying to paddle a Remix 59!

Maybe LL needs to build a Remix 35 mold!

He had gotten his feet past the pegs a few times, and I had seem some photos of what the foot pegs and braces looked like after an entrapment (probably on the buzz). I didn't what anything keeping him in the boat when he wanted out. So I trimed some foam blocks that wedge in. If I was sharing the boat between multiple kids I would think twice about removing the foot pegs. We raft - so his boat seems really light in comparision to ours!

Good point about entrapment. Not to worried because the size of kids foot compared to space in boat is pretty different then in the old adult boats with foot pegs.

Yes it is a 47 not a 49 sorry for the Typo.

Yeah a 35 would be nice as well as a Biscuit 30. But I have found if I give them a booster seat, even small kids do fine. I use 1 or 2 of the 1" foam blocks that comes with bulkhead system in larger boats. The boat is narrow enough that once they can reach over the cockpit rim they can actually move the boat, their knees get up in the thigh braces and they are still very stable.
