Kayaking CO for Spring Break, How are the rivers flowing?

Some friends and I are headed down to Colorado from Duluth, MN on the 20th. I was hopeing that someone could give me some information on what rivers are flowing like. We are looking to Kayak anywhere between Fort Collins (Big City Burrito!) and Ouray. Rivers around class III to IV would be perfect. Thanks!

Look for the flows on Gunny Gorge, Shoshone, Cross Mountain Gorge, Westwater, Lower Taos Box, they should have *some* water. The snow starts melting, and the runoff begins, about mid May.

Agreed... Gunny Gorge has some good water but probably a lot of ice too. That could be kind of scary. Ski instead.

I ran the Royal Gorge Saturday.. no ice, 300 cfs, low, but it is flowing enought to still be enjoyable. I'll be headed back when the weather warms back up...While it was good to get back in there, I don't know that is destination worthy unless you live less tahn 2 hours away. It won't be at higher levels for at least 4-6 weeks.
