Guess I dont think of having to document on the river. I document all day at work, so I try to forget about it when I am on the river. I carry a cool "waterproof" notebook and special pen in my bunker gear, guess I will throw one in my river kit. I carry an old pill bottle I put magnesium shavings in for fire starter. Works awesome when wet and can start pretty wet material well. Bought it at a gun show. Didnt even have to do a background check. hehehe

Speak of Peace, (but carry a big gun)

That self sticking elastic wrap is called Coban. It is the best thing out there for wrapping/covering wounds and/or applying pressure - it's even waterproof and super-easy to use. If you go to the pet supply store, you can get the same exact product for about half price - they call it "vet wrap." Best of luck with your kit!
